Sandy J. Styma, age 58, of Alpena passed away in the evening of September 8, 2015, at Alpena Regional Medical Center. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.
The daughter of Erwin and Yvonne (Zdybel) Styma was born May 19, 1957 in Rogers City. She graduated from Posen High School in 1975 and continued her education receiving a degree in cosmetology. Sandy enjoyed needle point, crafts, and liked to cook and bake. Often she cooked at her clubhouse.
Surviving are her parents Erwin and Yvonne, 2 brothers Randall (Jane) Styma, and Erwin (Carey) Styma II both of Posen; 2 sisters Ann (Jason) Marsa of Sterling Heights, and Mary Styma Wagner of Macomb; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers Dennis and William.
Visitation will be Thursday September 10, 2015 at Hentkowski Funeral Home in Rogers City from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM the Rosary will be recited at 6:45 PM following with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Funeral Mass with Father Arthur Duchnowicz officiating at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Posen. Burial will follow in St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery.
