Paul A. Dault, 67, of Lachine passed away Saturday July 17, 2021 in Lachine after a courageous battle of cancer.
The son of Arthur and Virginia (VanWormer) Dault was born on November 15, 1953 in Alpena, Michigan. He was a 1971 graduate from Alpena High School, and he remained living in the area his entire life.
Paul worked for Devere Construction for many years; he enjoyed demolition and was an all-around handyman, at work and at home. He was very kind hearted and enjoyed helping everyone around him, always keeping busy. Being with his grandchildren gave him the most joy and happiness in life. Spending many hours outdoors is how he enjoyed his time, always finding time for fishing and hunting. He worshiped at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hubbard Lake.
He was preceded in death by his father Arthur, a brother Ronnie, and a sister Jill Marie.
Surviving are his mother Virginia of Lachine; a daughter Nicole Dault of Iowa, a step daughter Tianna (Edwin) Palmer of Alpena; two sisters Linda (Tom) Brazeal of Hubbard Lake, and Julie (Jerry) Barnes of Oakdale California, a brother Albert (Becky) Dault of Lachine; and five grandchildren.
A graveside service will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Alpena on Saturday July 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. on line condolences may be sent to hentkowskifuneral.com.
