Juliana Augsburger

July 27, 1933 — March 6, 2020

Juliana Augsburger, 86, of Rogers City, passed away Friday afternoon March 6, 2020 at Rogers City Medilodge.
The daughter of Julius and Leonora (Zinke) Wyant was born July 27, 1933 in Moltke, and was baptized into her Christian faith on August 20, 1933. Being a lifelong resident she graduated from Rogers City High School in June of 1951. Juliana was united in marriage to Fred Augsburger on November 7, 1953 at St. John Lutheran Church by Pastor Weller.
Juliana was a very devoted mother and wife volunteering for St. John School group camp for many years, never missing the boys sporting events, and was a den mother for 6 years. She was a member at St. John Lutheran Church, and it’s Ladies Aid.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Marvin, and a sister Mary.
Surviving are her husband Fred; 3 sons Paul and Carol of Brighton, Wayne and Cora, and Karl of Rogers City; 7 grandchildren Stacie (Steve) Papineau, Matthew (Ashley) Augsburger, Aaron (Christy) Augsburger, Teyla, Andrew, Adam, and Luke Augsburger; 3 great grandchildren Ella and Alexander Papineau and Lily Augsburger; 2 brothers Elden Wyant of Arizona, and David Wyant of Harbor Springs; a special goddaughter and niece Lisa Luebke.
Visitation will be Sunday March 8, 2020 at Hentkowski Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 6:30 PM. Visitation will continue at St John Lutheran Church Monday from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Funeral Service with Pastor Dereck Riddle Officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. John Lutheran Church Radio Fund, Peace Lutheran hand bells, and Peace Lutheran senior youth group.
