Jay A. Haneckow, age 55 of Rogers City, passed away on Saturday January 28, 2017 at Medilodge of Hillman.
The son of Robert and Mona (Zinke) Haneckow was born on April 29, 1961 in Rogers City.
He is survived by 9 sisters Judy Kandow, Janice Murphy, Joan (Lee) Gapczynski, Janel Haneckow all of Rogers City, his twin sister Jackie (David) McDonald of Hemlock, Jule (Leo) Sobczak, Jenifer Bedrosian of Alpena, Jean (Ron) Sager of Traverse City, Jolyn (Dave) Benes of Alaska, and a brother Jerome (Renee) of Levering; many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents and 2 brothers James and Jeffery.
A visitation will be Tuesday January 31, 2017 at Hentkowski Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a family tribute at 7:00 PM and military honors accorded by VFW Post 607.
Memorials may be made to charity of friends choice.
