Elaine Bugosh

Eileen (Elaine) (Laney) Bugosh, 65 of Rogers City, passed away Saturday afternoon September 5, 2020 at Mclaren Hospital in Petosky.
The daughter of Alonzo and Charlene (Strunk) Mckiddy was born October 10, 1954 at St Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor. Eileen grew up on a farm in Livonia, with 10 siblings (Russell, Ardith, Wanda, Rick, Cathy, Gary, Mary, Bobby, Joanne, Allen). This is why she could not cook for only 2 people because she was used to cooking for 13.
On September 11, 1976, Eileen married the love of her life Robert Paul Bugosh at St. Theodore’s Church in Westland where they made their home, together they would have celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary this Friday. From their union they had three children, Christopher, Michael, and Nicole. Eileen also had three grandchildren Brooklynn, Devyn, and Corey that meant the world to her for she was a devoted grandmother.
Eileen's passions were family, cooking, and gardening. If you have had the privilege of meeting her, you would not leave her home without a full belly, tons of memories, laughter and love shared. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend, cook, and gardener that left a lasting place in everyone’s heart that knew her.
Visitation will be Thursday September 10, 2020 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Hentkowski Funeral Home in Rogers City. Visitation will continue Friday September 11, 2020 from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service at the funeral home.
